Hi, I'm Alice.

Art has been a part of my life in one form or another for as long as I can remember. I think back to early memories of me scampering through our family home at the age of 3 or 4, water dripping from a paintbrush as I excitedly made my way to a watercolour set my parents bought me. My techniques have improved since then, but my zest for creativity remains exactly the same. For me, creating art is a source of joy and fulfillment, an enriching experience that helps me to see the world in fresh and unique ways.

Inspiration, for me, can come from many sources, including nature, architecture, travel, family and even the seemingly mundane yet profound moments of everyday life — those are often what inspire me most.  As the artist, everything I create resonates with me on a personal level. Ultimately, though, my goal is to make art that fosters a connection with the viewer, inviting them to find their own significance in each piece. I believe art can not only reflect the beauty of the natural world, but also has an immense power to provoke thought, impart knowledge, and spark conversations that can help to build a greater understanding of our societies. My hope is that the art I produce will do some of that for you.

I create from my studio near Toronto, Ontario, where I live with my husband and our son.
